Story Behind The Song
This song was inspired by the poetry of the Persian 13th century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. When I discovered his poetry it moved me more deeply than any writings ever had. Especially this poem about finding divine love just pulled at my heart and I started singing with a few chords on the guitar.
It is one of my all time favorites .
