Song Description

This is a modern remake of an old song that's been haunting me. Here's a technical explanation of how this piece was recorded...... This performance was all tracked live except the flute. Capo 5 guitar on one of the stereo channels and voice on the other. The foot pedals were tracked at the same time via midi on a 3rd channel. I then assigned the recorded midi event track output to a hardware sound module and recorded a separate wav track from the synth module using the original octave bass strings that I use when performing it live. Then took the midi event track and transposed it an octave up and added the 2nd synth track from the module (a bell patch) and the 3rd synth track was full strings ensemble from the DAW softsynths. I wish I could have done the flute too but had to add that one afterwards:)
