Temple of the Sun

Story Behind The Song

A 21st century musical interpretation of the cultures that built the two Temples of the Sun (in Peru and China).

Song Description

Ethnic instruments and guitar take the main melody, with a contemporary Latin-based groove. The chords of the background synth choir and pads hopefully give a sense of wide open spaces. This track reached the Semi-Final, (and was a borderline finalist)

Bright, breezy and full of colour, enchanting and extremely enjoyable, definitely lifts you up and takes you on a journey across Andean peaks. Great instrmentation selection, beautiful smooth arrangement in last two thirds. Really loved this and will be marked as a favourite.

I just chilled out and enjoyed this song. I like the constant cheerfulness and the rhythmic disposition.
