Story Behind The Song

I wanted to create a swing/jazz tune so I wrote this happy cheerful instrumental in Cubase Pro. I loved the way the brush drums worked with the bass and piano and formed a tune over the top of it using a clarinet. I then needed a bit of a break from the clarinet so incorporated the trumpet in the short minor section of the piece.

Song Description

The song is formed of 3 main parts. The introduction where you here just the brush drums, bass and piano leading into the main clarinet tune. Then you hear a shorter minor section where the trumpet takes over the lead before returning to another clarinet lead with violins being added. After the second minor section there is a short break with just some brush drums before the bass, piano and violin return followed by the clarinet lead. Finally, the clarinet lead is joined by the trumpet before the composition finishes.
