Story Behind The Song
Living in addition to hearing about the horrific Jonestown tragedy.
Song Description
This song made the Boston airwaves in 1979. I named the studio band "The Invisible Men," after drummer Jimmy Butts referred to us as musicians that everyone can hear but not see. It was recorded by Howard Cook at Euphoria Studio off of Shirley Ave in Revere. Euphoria now is actually Sound and Vision, moved to the other side of Revere and where the theme album "Made In Revere" was recently recorded. Thanks for the memories Howie.

Lyrics
Question after question by my side
Question after question upside down
Not even sure of the ground I lay my feet on
Who's sick? Who's sick!
Oh! Not I!
And we bleed
And we laugh
We cry
For the world, at the world, in the world
Question after question in my mind
Question after question in my eyes
Where were you when the line was dropped?
I was home watching the great grand tube
We bleed-for the light we see in each other's eyes, we adore
We laugh-at times of joy spent in the morning tide
We cry-and the dreams that don't come true!
For the world, at the world, in the world
And sometimes I think its a waste of time
For the world, at the world, in the world
Sometimes I think its a waste of time
Sometimes I think its a waste of time
Sometimes I think its a waste of time!
Catch it!
We bleed
We laugh
We cry
And sometimes I think its a waste of time
Sometimes I think its a waste of time
Wasted, wasted time
Wasted, wasted time
Wasted, wasted time
Sometimes I think its a waste of time!
