Story Behind The Song
One of my water aerobics classmate was absent from class; I asked about & was told she bruised her ankle. I said she was fine the day before. "She must have fallen being chased by an old man at the casino"!!! I said I was gonna write a country song about her!!! A few hours later it was created!!

Lyrics
Don't steal an Old Man's Quarter ©2014
Stanza one- It's Monday at the casino, this is my way to have some fun,
no rules or regulations, play 'til here comes the sun,
yes all was well 'til one o'clock, when he sat down in my chair,
we exchanged words & pushed & shoved, went downhill from there.
Chorus- Don't steal an old man's quarter, not worth it in the end,
it will only draw attention, don't need that, listen friend,
just go find another spot, to let down your hair,
you may be somebody's son or daughter, still don't steal an old man's quarter.
Stanza two- Tryin' figure out why you limping, you were walking fine last week;
no one wanted to tell on you, your secret, they would keep.
When all was calm, the beans got spilled, the secret out the bag;
well now I have the upper hand, a funny story, I now have.
Chorus- Don't steal an old man's quarter, not worth it in the end,
it will only draw attention, don't need that, listen friend,
just go find another spot, to let down your hair,
you may be somebody's son or daughter, still don't steal an old man's quarter.
Bridge- instrumental
