Definitely a 60s throwback sound. Almost has a Gerry & The Pacemakers sound, which would fit in a retro film or TV show. The string sounds are a nice addition.

Very well sung and instrumented piece that somehow manages to be melancholy and happy both at the same time. Nice backing vocals.

This is the way songs should be written and executed. I'm a little prejudiced as I believe the best songs and music came out of the 60's and 70's. This is an example of that. Great instrumentation, great lyrics, the vocals were clear and above average. The hook is strong I really enjoyed the song!

Really great timeless feel to this. It's got that old-school crooner vibe, but the recording sounds just modern enough to feel like it would fit alongside a Michael Buble or other artists of that nature. The piano work in particular stood out to me. There was a nice melody that it went back to after the hook that helped make it stand out even more.
