Story Behind The Song

I get melodies in my mind at frequent intervals, like when I'm just waking up and in a half-conscious state. I have hundreds of unfinished melodies filling shelves in my filing cabinet. While working on an instrumental music CD featuring internationally famous touring harmonica soloist Tom Stryker This melody struck me as a perfect balance for the tone of the CD. It happens that Tom's son passed away after a lengthy illness while working on this CD so we named this song Elegy for Tom Jr.
