Lullaby For A Madman

Story Behind The Song

King Ludwig II of Bavaria built a castle called Neuschwanstein in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps. He was patron to the German composer Richard Wagner. Every room in the castle represents a scene from a Wagnerian opera. He was often referred to as Mad King Ludwig and he lived basically alone in his castle until the end of his short life.
