Gregory, Thanks so much for your terrific review of my song "In a dream". Would you be interested in cooperating, taking the song and run with it to reach the next level? We would need a top voice for this one.

Forgot to mention that I signed an exclusive publishing contract with D.S.M. Producers, INC. , a WARNER/CHAPPELL MUSIC, INC. affiliate, to compose background music for movies and TV shows. My composition "A Sense Of Touch" got me the contract.

Klaus, just listened through your playlist and I feel renewed, refreshed and musically centered. I love the way "In a Dream" fits with the other songs even though it's the only one with vocals. Hard to pick a favorite but Latin Delight and A Sense of Touch along with In a Dream are way up there. Glad I passed by.

Hi Jeff, here's a little note concerning your 6-pack success and 'chasing' Nick Fuse. You liked "In A Dream" some time ago. Actually, it was a collaboration with Nick. He wrote the lyrics to my song and yes, that's his voice. Congrats to both of you!

Just a thought: "Asto mar Leaust Yn My" as an English version would have great potential, too.

Thanks for the nice comment on my music. I've been enjoying some more of your tunes. "In a dream" is really quite enjoyable. "They Say" is very relaxing. I'm always curious where song titles come from on instrumental pieces.

Hi Jeff,
Where song titles come from on instrumental pieces?
I randomly open novels and write down fractions of sentences or parts of word combinations I like. Then I read through the list while listening to my new composition. Not my brains but my stomach area tells me when there is the perfect match.
You can see on my website and the albums that I love to find great title combinations and matches.
All the best, Klaus

I like that thought. Often when writing songs I am inspired in reverse of what you say. i hear a phrase or a couple words put together and it eventually becomes a song, or verse or at least a hook.

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for your review of "Rising". The off-beat play is intentional to avoid monotony.
I listened to your songs. It was pure fun and very entertaining. They have a JJ Cale-quality to them. Well done! I am waiting for more to listen to!
All the best,
Klaus

Hi Spadon,
Thank you for your review of "They Say". You are right. It would work great without the drum section. I listened to your compositions and realize the potential. With your command of instruments and recording skills may I suggest that you try strong melody lines with less effects to achieve even more powerful sound structures?
All the best, Klaus

Thanks for your solid review of "Rising". Exactly, the off-beat is intentional and always a point of critique in a world of perfect computer beat.
"God Chaser" struck me as highly original and fun to detect all the variations.

All the best, Klaus

Hi David, thanks for your nice review of "How Could I Know". Growing up without the lifeless and always (boringly) perfect computer beats I take the liberty of playing slightly off-beat to keep the soulful feeling flowing :-)
Impressive playlist! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the review of "Soundscape in the Clouds". You are correct, I am heading toward no melody on that piece. Just for meditation background music. Although, I could put some underlying melody to it and make it sound prettier. :) Thanks Klaus, I appreciate it.

David,
Thanks for the perfect score for "Silent Whisper".
You have done impressive work (and nice Cd-Covers). Wonder what you may sound like if you reduce all the electronic helpers to a minimum and concentrate on a pure and powerful melody line. Just a thought :-)

Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Thanks, again, for the nice review of my instrumental composition, "Highways To The Sky".

It comes from my CD, "Earthways" .... which is a hybrid meditative/New Age CD that I created for some friends of mine to listen to during Chemo and Dialysis.... thus, the songs are very long and repetitive. If you play the whole album from start to finish with earphones on.....I GUARANTEE that you will go into a subconscious states. Try it out by playing the whole CD.

Anyway, I appreciate the kind words coming from a solid composer like yourself.

Keep up the great work.

Best,

Chet Nichols

Chet,
I guess we are both right how to look at the length of a composition. I will soon be in your shoes: my next project is a solely meditative CD, asking for longer versions anyways. Keep up the good work. Your record is very impressive.

Hi Antho,
Thanks for your review of "How Could I Know". The off-beat play is intentional to keep the feel. Playing with the beat would have destroyed it.
Listened to your songs. Loved "Niceness". Would also love you to use your solid playing technique to come up with completed songs (nice bridges etc.). Too bad your songs are that short. Are there long versions available anywhere?
Klaus
