Story Behind The Song

Originally this song was written after hearing in the news about a man and a woman who met as Avatars (Second Life website) and then married in reality. This song has been slightly adapted to fit the theme of a forthcoming Indie film.

Song Description

This man's Avatar lives in fairytale like castles and marries a movie star. She flies and jets around the world to exotic places. It suggests she has a form of humaness as her DNA is dressed in binary. But she is a secret character who occupies his world.

Lyrics

Avatar

He makes an Avatar at midnight
A dreamy dream weaver's surprise
Wonderful Avatar of light
Living in fairytale like castles
A picture postcard of delight
Angelic Avatar, She flies

With his Diva he's alone now
Keyboard clicks and he transforms
His amazing Avatar
Becoming everything he's wanted
Giving all he ever needs
His captivating Avatar

Chorus:
Aah , aah,
Aah, Aaaaaah
Avatars

Photoshops her appearance
Pixel beauties from his dreams
His fascinating Avatar
Her DNA is dressed in binary
And animates across his screen
This cinematic Avatar.

Chorus

Bridge:
His friends have never even met her
He rarely leaves home at all
He hides behind fantastic creatures
His fragile life in her cocoon

His Avatar has just got married
To an A-list movie star
His romantic Avatar
They Jet to Cannes in the summer
Shop in New York most weekends
His enchanting Avatar

Chorus x 2 to finish
