Story Behind The Song
This Song in italian was premiered by the Orchestra of "Bridges - Musik verbindet" in April 2021 in Hessen TV at the Hessen Radio broadcast hall in Frankfurt am Main.
The theme of this concert was how melodies travel in different cultures. My task was to put the melody - which is also popular in the arabic speaking areas and in Catalonia - into a baroque style with classical and oriental instruments and paying musically attention to the new text by Franca Cevales.
