There's something about the blues that everybody loves from time to time. The raw feel of the music reaches your soul, you can feel it. And, it doesn't always have to be a downer. Sometimes it's funny as hell. That's how I like my blues ... raw fun and funny. So here's my tip of the hat to Muddy, Howlin', B.B., Leadbelly, Lightnin', and a bunch of other guys with funky names. Don't you love it? This CD is traditional blues with the raw funk of beat up acoustic guitars, honky tonk piano, harmonica, dented saxes ... the best and most unique of original American music with a contemporary feel.
