Hi Jimmy - TNX for the revue of 'Don't Tell Me'.
That's Mike Lusk down in Nashville on the vocals. Love his voice. I could never pass for a country singer...grin...so he's my go-to guy. You'd get a kick out of hearing my original songwriter demo for the song - it was all Michael McDonald - DX7 - 6ths and maj 7th chords...it worked great as an urban, jazz/pop song.
The fact that it could move to another genre with a 'country rinse' opened up my eyes about a lot of my older tunes.
Appreciate your listen and positive feedback!

Hey, Jimmy.
For sure. Let's look to getting a co-write together.
I'm shooting high for artist placements, and am getting an ongoing opportunity with the SongTown crowd to get in front of artists and pitch.
Those songs that don't seem to cross that threshold and get a bite, I then pitch to sync. I'm in four libraries now after getting back into writing a year ago.
I like your songs - 'I'm Bad' and 'In My Dreams' show a great range and both of those stuck in my ear.
