Songwriter from Portugal. In the 1990s, rose to prominence with the Portuguese band (V Imperio) and the album "Mar de Folhas. Teresa Salgueiro was our first lead singer, one that means nothing to the wider world., but she established herself as one of the best voices born in Portugal, ever. And no, no AutoTune.
Our second was Ana Quintans, now a Mezo Soprano on a global scale. I must stop losing talent :)
This album was mixed and mastered at London's Air Studios, where I had the opportunity to meet Sir George Martin CBE. It was an honour and privilege to shake his hand.
We used a lot of compressors and outboard gear from the Beatles' times, which were still stored in racks at the Air Studio. That was an amazing experience, especially combined with an automated SSL.
Never saw any money from the more than 20 000 albums sold worldwide, so here's a friendly cautionary tale concerning labels.
And, yes, I do make strange music

And Hans Zimmer took everything... Kidding, he's brilliant, just very annoyed with his fantastic work :)
Slowly mastering to broadcast level of all my songs, even no need for MP3s... But is a process. And money... MP3s are ok to have an idea, but that's just that.
2009?
Just noticed I have been here on and off for this long? 2009? And all I do is not worthy? Should I go and sell sausages? Or master the MP3's? Surely that's not it....
Things keep me up at night.
