Story Behind The Song

This song depicts my life story and upbringing and eventual return to the Christian faith as a young adult.

Song Description

This song begins with spoken word over a bright acoustic guitar, drums and shakers. The story goes deeper as the bass kicks in (0:33) and the listeners begin to realize they are listening to the vocalists' testimony. The melodic singing vocal prechorus is redemptive and leads into the actual chorus, which is an elated sing-along with the title "His love found me." To celebrate this meaningful chorus, listeners get a happy and reflective "La - La" segment which leads way to the next verse. Midway through the song there is a basic breakdown to highlight the singer's vocals which soon builds back into the standard chorus format. Near the end, there is a drum and bass breakdown The bass gets more intricate and the "La La's" seem more celebrated and intentional.
