Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song based around a letter/poem that my great grandmother wrote to her lover during the Civil War, called "The End of Sinning" The spoken words, are spoken by Dave Buckner from Papa Roach, and are exact words, aside from a gender change, that she wrote. I wrote the rest of the lyrics around hers, and tried to make it current. We put the song up to NARA voters last December for Grammy consideration and the feedback was amazing.
