Better World

Story Behind The Song

The story behind this song is a bit personal, so I hope you forgive my lack of detail. It was inspired by the observation of the extreme equality in the world and whether we like it or not we are all part of it, one way or another. It can feel like a bit of a paradox. My train of thought at the time was on, if there was a way one could change it, or would it have to be a global change or more realistically, anybody or bodies with the power to change it would either not care as they don't have to worry about it or would be scared of losing that power. So during my thought I took a break to clear my head and I wrote this song and decided to record it. I hope you enjoy :)

Song Description

It is a look into my self and others how equality is big part of the world now, obsessed with getting more money to eat and cloth, then house and car, all they way up to a privet jet and just plain show boating our wealth when people are starving in the world, and how we seem to be at a point were it can not change no matter how many people want a change to a more balanced planet it seems impossible.

Lyrics

Better world

I Don't know what am searching for,
But I seem to search at the devils door,
I look for guidance to my lucid brain,
People keep telling me, that they feel the same.
Is it true, what they do?
Is it true, someone's just like you.
Well It's a shame no one to blame, 'cause the whole dammed world has gone insane.

But if we found salvation would the river bleed?
take a leap of faith without our greed.
Not wear our wages draped from around our neck,
Looking for down on those less fortunate
Could you take the chance to change our fate?
And could we take the chance before it's late.
And, Can I hope for a better life, for a better world, x2
Before we are done.

We've got the fat cat laughing, from the prison walls
Knowing they are most guilty off all,
People are selling life, in exchange for debt,
What for, for just one more bet
